[gst-devel] how to update gstreamer registry

Hi,

I need to install some plugin from gst-plugins-good.
I added to configure arguments and when installed, the plugin is missing
from gst-inspect, later found to know that
need to update gstreamer-registry like
usr/...../gstreamer-0.10/registry....bin

Can any one suggest how to update the registry.

Hi,

gstreamer should automatically update registry once you install new plugins.
If its not happening, try deleting the registry.bin from your home folder.
(/home/<user>/.gstreamer-0.10/registry.i486.bin).
Next time you inspect it will rebuild the registry.
